Blood Donor Fun Run 2019

In conjunction with World Blood Donor Day 2019

Objectives

1. To celebrate World Blood Donor Day 2019 and thank individuals who donate blood regularly
2. Improve the public awareness of Blood Donation and to encourage, inspire and motivate young people to become new donor.
3. To create a platform for blood donor to improve their physical and family wellbeing through running and exercise.

General Info

The Blood Donor Fun Run 2019 is jointly organize by Pusat Darah Negara PDN and Sedarah Malaysia, and this year will be held at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur, start and finish at National Blood Centre (Pusat Darah Negara PDN )  Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur  on 22.06.2019, the flag off Time will be at 7.00 am. The event will be a non-competitive event  and participant will be assured an enjoyable time throughout the run, and attractive lucky draw prizes await all participants .

Registration/entrance Fee: RM30*

*Fees will entitle for T-shirts, finisher medal, lucky draw and goodies bag with breakfast coupon.

How to Register  

To register for the Blood Donor Fun Run 2019, just complete the Registration form which can be download at the link provided below and  deposit the registration fee of RM30 to the account of PERTUBUHAN PENDERMA DARAH MALAYSIA at Maybank A/C no: 5148 4231 7059, and email or whatsapp the completed form and proof of payment to Email : [email protected]  Whatsapp: 012-8981299, the registration is complete once you receipt the acknowledgement of your submission.

 

Terms and Conditions  

 

• The Blood Donor Fun Run 2019 will be a non-competitive event and there will be no winners’ prizes for all runners. All participants will be entitled to a T-shirt, Finisher Medal and a goodies beg from the organizer.
• There will be no categories of participation and open to all Malaysian and foreigner that reside in Malaysia 18 years and above, participant below the age of 18 will require their parent consent in submitting the registration form.
• All prospective participants must complete an official entry form with true, accurate and current details in order to participate in the run.
• Inaccurate or incomplete information can be grounds for disqualification or barring from the event with no issuance of a refund from the organizer.
• Completion of the official entry form, including online registration, confirms the participant’s agreement to abide by all event term and conditions. Registration for participants in the run is only confirmed upon the successful completion of the race entry form, entry fee payment and issuance of a receipt by the organizer.
• Participants must agree to receive message or emails from the event organizers from time to time.  Any notice sent by email by the organizer or the party so assigned by the organizer to the supplied address on the registration form shall be deemed received by the participant.

 

• Attractive prizes await winners of each category, and all participants are also eligible for lucky draw with prizes range from Hampers, Mountain bikes to home electrical products.  
• Finisher Medal will only be given after the participants has completed the run.
• Security measures for each participant are under the supervision of the organizers however the organizer is not responsible for the participant injury during the run.
• Participants are encouraged to undergo medical check-up or consult a physician before joining this run.

 

Health Problem

• If the participant has a sudden health problem on the day of the event, their participation will be cancel.
• Participant that have health problem will be sent to the nearest health center or hospital.

 

Participant Insurance

• The organiser of Blood Donor Fun Run 2019 will not protect the participants in terms of public liability insurance and personal accident insurance.
• All risks and accidents involving participants in this race is the responsibility of himself or herself. The organizers will not be responsible for any loss involving bodily injury, property damage, whether personal or public, or any problems that arise during the program.
• Participants are recommended to have their own personal accident insurance or health insurance.

• Organizer’s rights
• To limit or increase or decline participation.
• If there is ambiguity in any provision, the organizer shall be the authority to interpret and in doing so, the organizer will take into account the interest of all participants.
• If this program is cancelled due to the unpredicted causes which can harm the safety of those who are involve the organizer will not be responsible for the refunding of the participation fees and other related things submitted to the organizer unless the organizer feels that the claims made by the participants is relevant.
• The organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone The Blood Donor Fun Run 2019 at any time and all the updates will be informed in the internet. If the event has to be postponed, there shall be no refund of fees paid and the organizer shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused. Any notices will be updated on the  Official Website.
• The organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants who do not follow the rules during the program and no claims will be entertained.
• The organizer reserves the right to use all materials, including photo, recording, or any other sources for commercial and other uses.
• The organizer shall not be liable for any injury, accident, death or loss of property by the participant’s own negligence.
• The Organizer reserve the right to modify or substitute any of these term and conditions from time to time as they deem fit. If there is ambiguity in any of these provisions, the Organizer shall be the authority to interpret and in so doing, they will take into account the interests of all the affected Participants. Any amendments to the term and conditions will be updated on the Event  Official Website.
• The organizer reserve the right to amend the Blood Donor Fun Run 2019  run routes as they deem for the safety of the participant and/or to prevent hazards in the running of the event, at any time.

 

In addition to adhering to the event’s term and conditions, participants will be required to abide to all local laws and customs while participating in the event.
